Collaboration with Joel Feldman. The figures and the idea of portraying them are Joel's; my main contribution is in the execution. We tried to show the figures very straightforwardly and avoid any drama of light or focus that would detract from their puzzling nature.
Who made these figures? For whom? To say what? About whom? Who buys them? Why? What do buyers think about them or about their makers? What do we think about the makers, the buyers, the depicted characters?
